    no but would like to upgrade in the coming months after this build

    6. Do you need any peripherals?

    No

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking?

    No

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]

    Any of above

    9. When are you purchasing?

    Within 2-3 weeks


    looking for a simple build. It has been 15 years since I built a pc!

    You say non-gaming, but a GPU could be useful still, but that'll depend upon what modelling package you're using. If you specify what that is, we could advise better.

    A quick google shows that it does have GPU support, namely for CUDA and RTX ray tracing on nVidia cards. I can't find any mention of AMD support added yet, so it seems like you're limited to nVidia currently.
