Hi. can i use my mobile bill to claim 30% for bradband costs. I have a household bill and if I aportion it between all residents its more or less works out the same. The bill is purly mobile/4G and not a contract or a high bill that you have if you purchase a smartphone etc.

The household bradband is not in my name so would be easier to avoid this and having to keep a record of the bils etc just in case Revenue come and check down the line.

Work from home relief is for light, heat and broadband. If you claim mobile phone expenses and get asked for receipts it's not going to qualify.

If the broadband bill isn't in your name but you contributed towards the bills claim for those (so long as you can back up the claim, eg proof of bank transfer to the billpayer).
