Have a look at this review by Nobby who goes by the handle markN on boards.ie, it's a review of the standard Sandero but it's basically the same car as the Stepway:

I don't think there are any real issues with them, they share many parts with Renaults. They are where Skoda were about 20 years ago, fairly basic and simplistic a to b motoring.

I have a Sandero(non Stepway model) the LPG version so more powerful than the 65hp silver one in that video but the blue one he was driving was a Comfort model that comes with either a 90hp petrol or the 100hp LPG and I found it weird that he didn't mention that.

I find the car good but the cruise control is non adaptive so you have to constantly press buttons on steering wheel to keep up or slow down with traffic. That's the only fault I have with the car. All new cars now a days have adaptive CC but you pay a lot more for those cars than you do for a Dacia.

Still plenty of new cars being sold without Adaptive cruise control.

They typically feature in the top 3 for most reliable brand. Recent what car survey placed them second only behind Lexus so a very savvy and economic choice overall.
