Soup maker that genuinely saves time? (DIshwasher safe?)

    Hello,

We need to make soups regularly, and the ready ones from shops have too much dodgy stuff in them, but nobody in the family has the time to spend hours at the hob.

I looked at soup makers. But I can't find any that would be dishwasher safe. Carefully hand-washing non-stick (or at best stainless steel) surfaces is a time-consuming process that really negates any time-saving from a soup maker (compared to just using a blender and a pan, when both are dishwasher safe).

Are there any soup makers that would actually save time?

IMO it's just another gadget to take up space in the press or counter top and gather dust. A large saucepan and a stick blender, that's all you need, and you can use both of them for other purposes.

Microwave soup is good , shove it in and leave it to cook
