Need help with Greek translation

Hi Suspect this may have something to do with the Greek air force, or a group of Greeks that may have served in Britain in the Second World War, but would appreciate a translation of the inscription on this carving. I tried Google Translate but got some gibberish about Silpi works (?). Thanks all.
