    To be fair, when I read the other thread the first thing i thought was that it was terrible advice (even if it's carried out in practise frequently) to tell someone to push back calliper pistons without opening the bleed nipple. All you need is someone going gung ho at it to make a costly error.


    I'd agree with comments on that thread, it's basic stuff.


    I will look up manufacturers guidelines tomorrow for replacing brake pads for some cars under the brand i'm working with and post the results here because you can be sure what it'll say.


    Unfortunately, you've put your foot in it this time LCM. Takes a bigger man sometimes to say he was wrong. Nobosy is perfect.
