Hi all, The AutoSave Draft feature is now disabled across the site. The decision to disable the feature was made via a poll last year. The delay in putting it in place was due to a bug/update issue. This should serve as a reminder to manually save your drafts if you wish to keep them. Thanks, The Boards Team.

Difference in the cost of tiles

    Hi

We've been looking at the prices of floor/wall tiles and they seem to vary hugely (from say €10/sqm up to €300/sqm) with most being in the €20-80/sqm range. With other materials, at least some the cost is related to quality and how long you'd expect the product to last. With something like tiles, obviously you don't generally expect them to break so I'm wondering what you're paying extra for in a €50/sqm tile compared to a €10/sqm tile? Is it purely aesthetics? The method of manufacturing? Or is there a practical difference in these tiles e.g. slippiness, prone to cracking, ease of cleaning, etc.

    Thanks
