Ford mondeo mk4 electrical issues

In the past week I've become aware of a couple electrical gremlins,

    1) the passenger window operated by the master switch sometimes works, most times not. I reckon this may be an issue with the master switch itself because the window works perfectly using the passenger switch. All other windows work well using the master switch.

    2) Passenger door lock doesn't work with central locking. But will lock when you press the lock on the door manually. It doesnt lock whether I press the button on the key fob or if I lock the drivers door, all other doors lock but not the passenger, quite certain it's the door lock actuator because I can't hear anything click on that side, are these easy to repair? Door card off, door handle removed, unbolt actuator and fit new (2nd hand) actuator.

If I replace door lock actuator do I need to do any re-learn with the key fob for that actuator?

Door lock is easy, just re-sync. The google/youtube have thousands of videos how to do that.

Great thanks, miraculously the passenger window being operated by the drivers master switch seems to be in perfect working order now.

Inspecting the windows has prompted me to give the window tracks a clean and some silicone lubricant.

I don't mind replacing the door lock actuator it's a cheap fix with a 2nd hand part and doing the work myself
