    2.25 Leopardstown FAKIR D'ALENE 10/1 PP ew

    Has done nothing wrong yet in his three chase starts, with two wins and a second from his last three runs, which were all over larger obstacles.. There might be far higher rated horses in this, and I've only looked at about half the field, but the selection looks about a 5/1 poke to me, and the Gordon Elliott/Jack Kennedy combo will do me here..

    I reckon he's a young horse with 'bags of scope' , and that 'chasing was always going to be the game with him' , as (winning)trainers are wont to say in post race interview..

    Went down to shop after, and no 10s to be seen.. Got 9s on Fakir D'alene, which were grand.. Now a general 7/1 - 15/2 shot, with 365 going a best priced 9/1 - according to leading odds comparison site anyhow...
