Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

TA Traffic Announcements

There was a thread about this many years ago and the failure of Irish stations to use the TA system.

It seems it's still not a feature with broadcasters, but rather than doing nothing at all my (Renault) radio system will switch to RTE Radio 1 for a 'Traffic Announcement' randomly, even though there's no traffic news on. Is this a faulty radio or do RTE spuriously broadcast this signal? Anyone else noticed this?

RTE Radio 1 and RnaG are the only Irish stations I've seen that display the TA flag. The others use TP instead. I wasn't aware that they didn't make use of it though.

RTE used to broadcast the TA flag many years ago, and sometimes they would "forget" to switch it off.

It's not used really anymore. I often thought about turning it on just becuse I can :)
