Anyone know what kinda tool would fit this ba$tard of a bolt? God knows why they couldn't just have a standard 6 sided or even a hex bolt at least.

I've sprayed a can of WD40 over a period of days and it's still not budging.

Its a "key" to stop them being stolen.

So I need to get a particular key of THULE to take it off?

Makes sense though as you can open the key slot part with harsh language as they are that simple!

The other 3 came off fine, just this one is not budging.

Dunno what happened to my original post.

Is there not usually a cap piece/handle you use to tighten and losen the bar? There is on mine and that's what's used to twist the bolt.

There is, that's what the photo is off, I tried to turn it multiple times when you pull it out and now it's rounded on the inside so the sh!tty threads on the inside of that handle are done so trying an alternative. A mate said he had this socket that might do (has moveable pins inside to enclose) Will give it a go...
