GOMO PAYG

Hi,

Doubt it is Android related, but is anyone having problems with GOMO. PAYG ? I get "Network Busy" when I dial any number, landline or mobile. (Pixel 6) Tried my SIM in Pixel 3A XL, same result

I wasn't aware GoMo did PAYG 🤔

There is a GoMo FAQ thread in Mobiles Forum OP ,I'm on the €9.99 offer, no problems at all

Mine is fine but my mum's Gomo wont make outgoing calls since this morning. Ive been tasked with fixing it with no luck. Texts are okay. When I try to make a call it just says call ended.

are you in same location ???, funny if it is model/make dependent. I am in Sligo

and same here, can send text but can not send or receive voice.

Past week or two every morning would try and call the same number always around same 1130, but most times would not connect. Always blamed other phone.

Have tried contact support but no joy.

Is it just one number your calling your having difficulty with or any number 🤔

If its only one number is it possible that person has mistakenly blocked you 🤔 if its a general issue with other numbers then possibly a network issue but not if your able to call and text some numbers and not one or two 🤔

3 of us in the same house with Gomo. 2 are fine. One with issues. A quick search on the twitter shows a few others are having issues. Hopefully works itself out. Tried calling a number of people and same result

Hi,

It was just the one number would call around 11.30, (Wake-up call) quite often did not connect. Until today experienced no other problem. But NOW will not connect to any number, landline or mobile.

It's looking like it is a network issue according to others. Just as a test , can you do a network search on your device , might just refresh it but I'm stuck after that, hopefully it will be resolved soon 😏

SIM also does not work in another phone. Have tried everyway possible to shock it into co-operating. Even took a quick drive to a town 10 Km away. All to no avail.

Is it possible the second phone not unlocked 🤔 (Tied to another network 🤔)

I'm guessing at this stage it's a network issue , maybe connected to the Eir outage earlier but that said, I've personally not had an issue all day

As recently as an hour ago reports on Eircare twitter account suggests there's an ongoing issue re calls . Whilst GoMo independent of Eir, it works off the Eir network so I'm guessing this is the issue. No point contacting Eir by the way ,they won't deal with GoMo customers.

Frustrating I know as GoMo care is atrocious but I'd certainly log an email through your account in contact section.

Now working. But too late. Visiting Vodafone shop Monday morning. When I joined Gomo a little over a month ago they advertised WiFi calling. However they did not provide, blamed my phone but Vodafone provides WiFi calling same model (Pixel 6). So bye-bye

PS Can also use eSIM with Vodafone

I've been trying to sign up to GOMO 14.99 deal for the past couple of weeks. ( I'm currently an Eir bill pay Android customer , & want to switch to GOMOs cheaper rate)

I put in all my details correctly & hit 'Pay Now',

then it says 'processing your transaction'

and then it says 'Oops! Unfortunately an error has occurred with our payment system, please try again later'

I've tried many times, at all hours of the day, and even at 5am, - but keep getting the same message.

I posted the issue on their Facebook page, and it was deleted off there in less than 5mins!

I sent them a message on FB Messenger - no reply.

So after reading this thread, I'm guessing it might be the Eir network issue reported here?

I thought maybe it was Eir trying to block the move!!!
