I'm looking to buy a new Tucson Executive PLUS Hybrid, at around 45k minus 10k trade in.

I'm very close to make a move but I was wondering if in this case would be good to get 2nd hand. New model came in 2021 so it would be an older model, I found some of them for around 35-40k with around 25000-40000km. To be honest I love the new model, but I need to consider in this case if is it worth it or not, so wondering what people were thinking, specially looking at how the market is looking for 2nd hand.

Avoid the older model (2020 and below) as resale value will be considerably lower.

I own 2021 Tucson Executive Plus HEV 1.6 Petrol and already done 24000 km. Very satisfied so far, getting 5.4L / 100 km fuel consumption.

Only issue is I don't find the seats comfortable for long journeys.

I got free 5 years service plan (or 75000 km) and 5 years unlimited mileage warranty.

Overall, I am happy to recommend this car.

That's pretty poor consumption given it's a hybrid I'd have thought?

I don't think so. Keeping in mind it's 230 hp and carrying 1700 kg of steel 😌

    I am open to corrections.

@OP No harm in having at look at the new Kia Sportage too. Who knows maybe you will get a better deal or trade in with Kia.

It's really your choice and your decision what you do.

The new Nissan Qushqui could be worth looking at too although I think the new one is very boring.

If your worried about saving money have a look at the new Dacia Jogger. It will be priced from 25k I think it us still TBC and has a 600+ litre boot plus availible with 7seats. Also Dacias hold there value really well.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.
