Landing in Alicante.. where to go for a quality 4*-5* with pool

    HI

    Am considering a holiday using Alicante as the gateway..... but looking at Alicante I see it has plenty of old worlde hotels but very few with a pool.


    Where would you recommend going by taxi/transfer from the Aiport to get aTOP CLASS hotel with its own outside pool. I dont need to be in Alicante city... just Looking for a 50's+ Couple wishing to treat themselves so price is not a major problem.
