Attic insulation and storage

    For a 55sqm attic, to top up insulation by 200mm how much would you expect to pay? And on top of that, to put down a floor for storage, any idea what that should cost?

    materials / materials & labour? There are grants for some of this so check that out if asking for quotes. For materials only I would say a couple of hundred euro to top up the existing insulation and then get those legs you fit on top of joists so you can lay a floor down on top to avoid compressing the new insulation, probably another Eur 200-300? Lookout for good bulk deals on insulation or online. Depends on the time of year you can get a good deal if you wait a bit.

    55sqm 200mm insulation about 400 to buy, stilts and flooring 30/35 a sqm to buy roughly ! i had an attic done jan 2020 2 men full day

    8 to 6 charged supply & fit +15sqm floored with chipboard total was something around 1500/1600 prices have increased a bit since then!
