Triton T90 SR Max Temperature

Got a new one of these and while nice and silent the first thing that struck me is that in order to be warm it needs to be on the II setting and the flow as low as possible. I realise it's a cold time of year but basically at its hottest it was just about warm enough

On other showers such as the Mira Elite SE, economy mode on min flow is just as warm. Or if using the Mira on max mode the flow control would be half way between hot and cold to give the same temperature as the T90SR

While it is warm enough (for me), I was wondering is this a "feature" of this particular shower ? Or is there some internal under the hood setting I'm not aware of which can be adjusted to make it hotter ?

It's not a good idea to compare where the "sweet spot" is on different model showers because they aren't supposed to be in the same spot. Mira Elite SE starts to get warm usually around the 12 o clock mark depending on the attic water temperature. The Triton T90SR is usually around the 3 o clock mark. The "sweet spot" position on the dial tells you very little. To determine if there is a problem you need to do a flow rate test. How many times can you full a litre jug with warm water in 60 seconds. This gives you the LPM rate. I'd be looking for 3.5 to 4 LPM

There could be several issues. Shower could be airlocked. Temperature dial may be sitting in the wrong position. You could have a faulty element. I'd suggest getting your installer back.
