Possible to get very old weather data, like what days did it snow in a county in 2000 for example?

Hi there, Looking for some old weather data to crack a case. Need to find out what days there were snowfall in Ireland in a particular place in the year 2000. Is this kind of thing possible to suss online somehow? Cheers
