how to get irish and uk tv in spain

going to Spain next week for a few weeks. Like my corrie and Emmerdale. Don't think the tv in the apartment will have British stations. What do I need so I can watch these programmes over there.

You could buy an Android Box, about 60 euro, and install ITV player on the box, or bring your laptop, and use that , either standalone or connect via HDMI cable

The problem you will have, is that ITV player will detect the computers IP address is in Spain , and not the UK ,and will not play programs . This is called Geo Blocking

I think Channel 4 player or RTE player is not Geo Blocked, meaning you can watch their content overseas

If content is Geo Blocked , you can download software to mask the fact you are in Spain, and you appear to be in the UK

Just get a VPN "virtual private network" not that expensive, and its like you are still in ireland with your internet

The Geo blocking works both ways. You will be able to watch you tube content that you cannot access here.

Why don't you watch a few Spanish soaps instead?
