What is this worktop finish?

Looking to add to some shelves into a home office. Was thinking of getting shelving to match the desktop, but I'm at a loss as how to search for it.
Can anyone tell me what this finish is called? I believe it is a laminate - hmm shelving be got to match or would oak to match the skirting and architrave be better?
