    hello

so my Triton T40i has finally given up and there is no replacement model for this type of Triton and also no spare parts either , it runs from the tank from the press which i have to heat the water first and then is pumped my the Triton t40i .

my question is if im going to replace this shower im looking to get a shower with a heating element inside so i can turn up the temp or lower the temp down

is this much of a big deal ? and is it pricey

Just to be clear, the Triton T40i isn't a shower. It is a booster pump. It's fed by the bath taps. There is absolutly nothing in place that lends itself to an electric shower. It needs to be plumbed as an electric shower can't take it's supply from the bath taps. It needs to be rewired right back to the fusebox as the tiny cable feeding the T40i couldn't run an electric shower safely. Most T40i pumps were installed in old apartments. This usually means running pipes & cable surface in white PVC Trunking. Prices vary from county to county & even Dublin 1 or 2 could be €100 more expensive than the rest of Dublin due to our wonderful new bus & cycle lanes & lack of parking. I'd suggest €750 supplied & fitted might be an average price
