Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Small business - turnover c. €15k per annum providing consultancy services. It is not registered for VAT in Ireland as below the threshold.

The opportunity of a contract with a customer in France has arisen. Estimated turnover will be €10k per annum.

Is there any requirement to register for VAT in either country?

VAT income threshold for an individual supplying a service is 37,500eur per annum. So if your income is not going to exceed this amount there is no obligation to register for VAT.
