Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Photoshop Question about selecting all on one Layer

Say I have a Layer that has some objects, with transparent background and I want to select everything that's painted on that Layer and nothing else.

Control+A to Select All is not the answer as that would select the entire "Canvas" and that's not what I want.

Infact, imagine you have the silhouette of a tree, stamped onto the middle of the Canvas and it includes all manner of little transparent sky holes through the tree.

Now I want to make a selection of just the tree, minus all those sky holes.

I want a marquee selection of the tree so that I can perform additional actions on just that selection.

I saw a video where the guy was on an Mac and he had a different Layer as active. He held the 'command' key down and selected the tree layer and bang, he had a marquee selection of just the tree.

But i'm on a pc so don't have a command key.
