Can I stick run flats on?

Knowledgeable folks, got an Astra K (182) hatchback that we've realised doesn't have a spare... looking into getting on and the required add-ons (polystyrene, holder, carpet etc.) are feeling insanely pricey, so thinking of going run-flat route instead... doing feck all miles, more expensive long run but means we keep the boot space too.

I can't find online if the car can take them is the only thing, I've found that the care needs a TPMS, which I think it does (I can see the tyre pressure of each tyre on the dash like)... is that good enough for a thumbs up?

Obviously know nothing about cars so any help is appreciated.

Seems a very expensive way of sorting it to me. Try a breakers yard e50 should sort a jack, wrench and spare. Try fit it while there also as some of them would give you anything!

We have a Corsa with no spare, it does have the gunge and a compressor built in, have never worried about a spare.

I tend to get no punctures for a number of years then could get 2 in 6 months. If it was me I would instead buy a tyre inflator for €30/40 which should get you to a typre repair centre for most general punctures with standard tyres. When a runflat gets punctured that's it can't be repaired, you can drive on it at reduced speed to get a replacement.

I did 7 years and a lot of kms in a car that didn’t come with a spare, and only had a pump and a bottle of goo. Goo never got used, pump did a few times.

had similar thinking, and when i needed that goo, it was expired and didn't even come out a drizzle, ~€15 "trust" went down the bin and didn't even served 🙄

now have proper wheel as a spare and rotate as i change tires

Yep would do that but need it to be neatly away in the boot (buggy in there these days annoyingly), and to get the wheel, jack, wrench, polysterene seat and new carpet to fit over the new shape it's insanely pricey. No joy with breakers yard, new shape only came out in 2018 and they were an optional extra, so guessing there's not many around.

Aside from the cost, is it possible to fit run flats? Want it to be hassle free if herself is out with the bundle of joy and gets a puncture, if it was just a run around for myself I'd stick the spare in loose in the boot and be done with it
