I bought a car (2015) a couple of months ago that developed a couple of minor errors where faults appeared on the dash. The car was still driveable and I was informed it was a sensor. One error still appears while the other only appeared once or twice.

Recently the car just died while driving it. I got straight onto the dealer who decided it was the fuel filter and duly changed it. However not a week later the car died again. I don't believe the errors appearing on the dash are related to the car dying but not 100%. The garage is a very reputable one and I did ask about trading it back in but was offered 2.5k less than what I paid.

Obviously I cannot trust the car now. How many times can I drop the car back to the garage before I decide I want my money back? Or is that an option at all?

How long is the warranty that came with the car and is it still under warranty? If you call Citizens Information or CCPC they will give you good factual advice
