I exchanged my uk license end of 2019. Never gave any thought to the 'motorcycle' classes on it.

So AM is a small moped - is that <50cc?

    What is the A?

I dont/cant ride a motorcycle, have driven a moped about twice in 20 yrs

Yes. AM is a moped. Up to 50cc, and with a top speed of no more than 45km/h

The A Licence has the 79.03 restriction. This restricts you to Trikes only.

Both these categories are simply a "grandfather clause" which applies in your case as you would have held a full Car Licence in an EU State prior to certain dates.
