Getting Amazon Firestick to work directly on a laptop

    Hi,

    ATM Amazon Firestick works on my tv, not on laptop. From a quick google, a 'hmdi video capture' adapter seems to be the solution https://www.freetv.ie/video-capture/

    Is this the easiest way to watch Firestick on a laptop?

    What do you need to do on the Firestick that cant be done directly by an application/browsing to the website on the Laptop?
