    Hi all,

I have the above issue with my Hp Envy 6032 since my toddler knocked it and broke off a piece of the tray. I have done a repair but it has not solved the issue. Does anyone know what type of switch and where detects the tray closure? Is it at number 1 in the picture below? It looks like the two side switches 3 & 4 are being engaged.

I know its a cheap enough printer but i had just bought new ink cartridges so would like to solve this issue and keep it going if possible.

    Any help appreciated.

You should be able to fix that easily with epoxy resin.
