Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Eldest daughter wants to go to college but still doesn't know what she wants to study or where. I think that she'll just choose any course just so she can have the college experience. It's costly as it is and we're not entitled to any grants due to us both working full time so I don't want to waste money on something she may give up after a few months! How do you decide as her careers teacher isn't helpful? We have 2 other children coming up to college in 2 and 3 years time so if eldest decides to have a year off it'll mean we'll have 3 going off to college on 3 consecutive years which sounds unaffordable for us... Does anyone know if Leaving Cert students still apply to join Civil Service or Bank of Ireland etc these days or is that totally unheard of now?
