Door not closing properly

I have a rear door 4,x7 ft approx, maybe once a month it does not close properly, it closes about 95 per cent leaving a gap about 3,4 inch, 0.75inch open, it is wooden, it has 4 hinges. Metal. Each hinge is about 4 inchs in height. If it doesn't close all the way I put a chain across it with a small padlock. Any advice, what could cause this. There's nothing blocking it, it usually closes easily , it's not stiff or noisy if I close it. All screws are tight in the hinges. Door is about 30 years old. Sometime I can fix it if I open the door all the way back, and then close it. Started about 6 weeks ago. Before then it was fine
