Hi there! A friend of mine (always the case) has some shares from their company... Let's say they have $100.000 that will be available at the end of 2022. Now, this person (that is Irish by naturalization) wants to move back to their country next year (after 15 years in Ireland). Do they have to pay the 52% of the taxes…

Hi there!
A friend of mine (always the case) has some shares from their company... Let's say they have $100.000 that will be available at the end of 2022.
Now, this person (that is Irish by naturalization) wants to move back to their country next year (after 15 years in Ireland).
Do they have to pay the 52% of the taxes from the account or they will be taxable in their country?
