AC Adapter plug

No idea what to call this, but hope you can see from my pics what I mean. It’s a set of LED lights for Christmas tree. Working fine till the lead has snapped off in a position which I cannot repair it because the plug is moulded.

im searching the web but to no avail for a replacement plug which I can wire up.

can anyone help please, what would I call this even? Know a shop where I might get help?

Try exposing the wire by snipping through the molding, or using a small hacksaw or hobby knife

since Maplin went bust, this sort of connector is not easy to find, if you do a search on speaker plug, there are parts available on Amazon, or E-bay, or Aliexpress, but as usual, a supplier here in Ireland is seemingly impossible, and that's nothing new.

A possible, and has the advantage of not needing a soldering iron to fit the cable. Not sure how much they will charge for shipping though.

i might try one of those
