Removing Dishwasher to Empty Overflow

Hello everyone. I recently moved into my first home where the previous owner had left some appliances including the dishwasher.

Upon trying to start it I got an error and after further investigation it may have something to do with the overflow. In order to empty it I need to tip the dishwasher at an angle. The problem is they built it right and tight under the kitchen counter top. It seems the skirting board is stopping ti from being lifted out.

Looking at the pictures is there anyway of getting it out or do I have to cut through the skirting board?

That kickboard should be removable, looks to be nailed on!

I think you will have to take off the skirting on the right first and then remove the skirting in front of the machine. You can then cut the piece and refit using fittings attached to the legs of adjacent presses or other anchor points.

This will allow you to remove it in future. As said by Colm the kick board should be detachable.

I have had to tilt the dishwasher twice is about five years to reset the overflow switch. Do you have a washing machine adjacent and if so is the filter port accessible with space for draining?

That kickboard / skirting looks like it's mitred in the corners so you might end up having to take it all off.

That’s a unusual kick board setup. It’s normally inset under the press by a few inches not in front of the press doors, dishwasher like a skirting board.
