Just to let people know, I am not really modding (or CatModding) here any more, though I deleted that rubbish troll thread about the pro-lifer, so that is where it went.

While that poster was clearly not a teacher, that thread was mainly rubbish because of the responses, not because of the OP. It was mainly ad hominem attacks and very little constructive criticism. That wasn’t the OP’s fault, and it wasn’t a flaw inherent to the thread or the topic.

Actually it was stated because we couldn't have a normal discussion about IT issues during COVID without the trolls pilling on with nonsense like "teachers should pay for their own laptops" and "teachers doing nothing at home" etc. etc. So it's still a COVID related thread but without vthe attacks.

Soccer people get their own forum too

That’s fair enough, though I’d have thought a warning to those not participating in the discussion but rather, just trying to prevent it, might have done the job too.

These new boards are a mess though.
