A family member does not want to put up a satellite and use an aerial so I would like to get them an Internet based set top box for this. Is there something like this that will be easy to use, plug and play, and will not require them to be very technical to setup? I think I looked at a company called AerTV or similar in the past for this but that now brings up links to Magnet and I would like to get them something that will work with any good Internet connection rather than provider specific.
I am just looking at ibox.ie here, do they provide a reliable service?
