This is a 2003 Trek 5500 OCLV frameset, which I built up to as close a spec as I could, as ridden by a certain Texan gentleman.

Love him or loathe him, we won't get into that discussion!

Frame repainted in Tour yellow, with repro decals sourced from the US.

Dura ace 9 speed derailleurs, shifters and brake calipers. (as Lance preferred for the mountains of the tour, I've fitted a downtube lever for trimming the front mech - I can provide a cable stop if buyer prefers to use the left shifter for controlling the front mech.)

Chainset is a hand polished ultegra item.

Concor saddle, with vintage Starz 'n' Stripez and ''SAY NO TO DRUGS! stem decal fitted for fun.

Rolf Vector wheelset, new chain, cables & outers.

Ready to ride and shout 'Yeeharr!', as you whizz down the road, full of.....................lucozade.

    54 cm.

    €750 ono.

I'm based in Waterford but can travel within reason.

    Feel free to ask questions.

    Thanks for looking.

    P.

Ignorance and curiosity here but what's with the shifter on the non-drive side on the down tube? I didn't have a modern road bike in those days

EDIT: Some googling suggests this was a he who won't be named and other GC contender thing to save weight on climbing bikes for the sake of 200g. So it's likely there as a dummy on that bike for authenticity sake. Nice!!!!!!!

I just realised the shifters are Ultegra 9spd, and not Dura Ace, so I've adjusted the price down to reflect this.
