I was changing company for my daily in early December, and renewed my classic last week, so was just reviewing both policies. Both cover me to drive someone else's car (TP only I assume?) and provide cover for someone else to drive my car.

This got me thinking, say I borrowed a car and had an accident, my fault. Which company would end up paying out, my daily policy, classic one, or even the insurer of the car I borrowed (assuming that policy covers people to borrow it)?
