MOD - I'm not sure how useful this is.

There is already a big thread on VAT and Duty matters. The situation on Duties changes due to a lot of factors, so anyone who is importing needs to check at the time of the import.

There is not only Ad-Valorem Duty to consider, but anti-dumping, countervailing and excise duties. It also depends on the country that the import is coming on from. That is why each TARIC asks for the country of import.

You also need to know the country of origin for the import which may change the situation with regard to duties.
