Paying the €85 to join waiting list, cancellation terms???

Hi So I'm in the repeat test category now. Following the directions on the RSA site I can't join the waiting list unless I pay up the €85 (or give card whatever). I reckon I'll still need a few lessons before an actual repeat I don't want to be at a loss in terms of reducing the waiting time if I can either. Will the RSA…

I don't want to be at a loss in terms of reducing the waiting time if I can either.
Will the RSA hold my 85 euros as credit if say I cancel if I'm not just fully ready

^^^ That last line is basically my concern. I have no problem paying the €85 but what leeway have the RSA given to people in relation to cancellations especially if repeats differ to first timers?
