I did it years ago and it didn't work. The Allen Carr book worked wonders for me.

Allen Carr uses hypnosis in his book. That's why it works.

I know of a heavy smoker who tried hypnotherapy years ago- it worked for them in that they gave up for a few months but then went back on them - it certainly has some impact for some people but maybe if your mental attitude changes post session, then you might need a hypnotherapy booster?

I was actually gobsmacked this person gave up for even a few months so there is something there- I would be doing my research though in terms of where to spend your money as I imagine there’s a lot of cowboys out there too

Used the hypno 14 years ago and still off them. But what my hypnotherapist stressed that one must want to give them up and work on it. I found then the one or two fags during the day I really enjoyed (first cuppa in the morning especially) but the rest were just habit. Will work for some and not for others. But, good luck to all whatever method they choose.

Tried it years ago. Didn't work. He couldn't hypnotise me. I just couldn't concentrate on it. Good old-fashioned will power worked in the end. Get off them for 3 days and your cravings lessen.
