    Went in really not expecting to like this - American centric issues, but could be attributed to many a situation


    But it turned out to be quite intensive viewing but that is probably as much down to the actors, alas I'm not sure the ending hit me as hard as was expected from the writer, I don't know as never been in that situation, but seemed more like an afterthought to elicit some feelings

    Mark Kermode (and Simon Mayo too TBH) has been championing this for a while now; especially given his friendship with Jason Isaacs, which probably put it on the radar in the first place. Looks intense, though very stagey: I can see why it didn't really get much of a release across cinemas ...
