Uncle died abroad

Just wondering if anyone has some insights on what needs to be done in this case. My uncle passed away very suddenly in Peru where he was living with his wife and young child.

His widower is trying to figure out what needs to be done... He's a UK citizen so I've said she should register his death with the UK authorities but he owns a rental property in Ireland does something need to be done here? He's paying tax etc on the rental income.

The following link maybe of use. I don't work in the legal profession so have no idea if a grant of probate from UK Authorities is accepted in Ireland, but for sure she will need something as there is property in Ireland.

register death properly in peru first, and get certified true copies of cert

May depend if the Peruvian equivalent of a gender recognition cert is valid for probate purposes here.
