    There is one radiator in our semi d that gets boiling (lighting the fire atm). We have turned it down to the star setting on the valve but it still gets hot. How can we fix this?

    Is the room warm or just the rad? TRVs control room temp, not rad temp, so if the room temp is above maybe 8 degrees when on star, and the rads aren't restricting, you've probably got a faulty TRV

    Thanks for that. Are they easy to change? The TVR is flat on the side of the radiator if that makes sense. Is it possible to put a new one upright?
