im just back form canada where i had this set up

AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Hexa-core (6 Core) 3.60 GHz Processor - Socket AM4

MSI B450-A PRO MAX Desktop Motherboard - AMD Chipset - Socket AM4

ASUS Dual GeForce GTX 1660 Super EVO OC - 6GB GDDR6 Video Card

from reading here parts seem hard to come by- I have a budget of around 1200-1400

parts I have are 22 inch hd monitor, I would like a 2nd one, mouse and key board, I have m.2 250gb drive and some other hard drives I would like to add to any system I get, I do some light gaming, some video production and editing.

whats my best options out there at the minute

Probably not with a graphics card. A 3070 alone would go for that price in the current market.

Just be weary with that HP Omen I think a lot of the parts are their own form factor so upgrades won't really be an option down the line.

The motherboard in HP Omen 25L and 30L is standard micro-ATX form factor, though AFAIK the mounting holes for coolers use Intel spacing instead of AMD.

The power supplies are also standard Cooler Master ATX units.

In the autumn I got a fabulous gaming PC through PC Specialist.. no I do t have shares in that particular company 😂 but it was easy ordering through their site and I was extremely satisfied with the way it was all handled. I’m sure there are other companies offering a likewise good service. I had the item a month after ordering, and was kept up to date all the time about its progress. Selecting components was made easy by compatibilities being pointed out during the process.
