The smaller the better
Thanks for the link, if Im gonna pay 29 euro for a radio I'd expect to get fm lw and mw wavebands . I'd like a small transistor radio maybe 15 to 20 euro fm, mw wavebands works off Aa or Aaa batterys
Not your ornery onager
You'll struggle to get BBC on medium wave. Radio 4 is available from near Belfast on 720 but its quite low power. 198 long wave is the high power one but you'll need a LW radio.
Currys had the Roberts play10 reduced to 19.97 last week. No sign on them, but that's what was charged (I went back and got a second)
I found an old radio fm, lw, mw, I. Ll have to buy r20 batterys just to see if its still working. I think it's Roberts brand, about 5 years old.
I used to listen to radio 5 bbc on medium wave I also got a good reception I presume bbc 4 is on long wave still. I presume living in dublin helps of you want to listen to bbc radio on medium wave, of course I can just use a radio app on my phone too
Ah yes, forgot about 5 Live for whatever reason.
