How do you become a ref in the NFL, do you just collect corn flakes tokens or what's the craic?

Unfortunately so far we've have bad Jimmy out there tonight. Should be 21-0 up but I'll take 10-0 at the half with how poorly he has played.

Deebo Samuel deserves a better team around him. The guy is the best player in the NFL right now I think.

2nd half even worse than that first. 49ers should have dominated that game but threw it away driven mainly due to a shocking performance from Jimmy. This loss doesn't majorly change the playoff standings at this point but takes away some added comfort, especially with all these huge COVID outbreaks.

49ers can put up a good fight against anyone in the playoffs but if 'bad Jimmy' shows up they'll get slaughtered. This is around the win-loss position I felt they'd be at this point in the season but I expected our rookie with a high upside for big plays to be making these type of mistakes, not Jimmy.

Cleveland were running all over Green Bay, only needed a FG and had the ball near midfield with 3 timeouts left. Mayfield was garbage tonight and they put the game in his hands. Absolutely terrible coaching.

The Packers getting ridiculous calls in their favour has gone way beyond normality at this stage. With notable exceptions in the other direction obviously but consistently on a ratio of about 3-1. They've fan ownership, so no strong internal NFL pressure. It's difficult to fathom but it has striking similarly to Real Madrid in Spain in the 80s and somewhat thereafter

I think this season has been confirmation that Mayfield is not a QB you can expect to elevate a franchise. He could steady a sinking ship or be a very capable back up but he's a liability when the games are tight. He's cost his team multiple times this year. The Brown's have a pretty good team there now but he's holding them back from challenging for honours.

Yeah Mayfield isn't up to much, been clear for quite a while for me.

Packers well capable of winning ugly though which is what you want to see from your team heading into the playoffs.

Colts offensive line in real bad shape but they are still ahead, and have the ball, coming to halftime in Arizona.

So a 6 point lead fir the Colts at the half. OL really starting to creak and giving up penalties at the end of the half. Their D has been excellent tonight but it'll be very close I think.

Cards have to find something on offense to make it happen though.

I wouldn't go as far as comparing them to Madrid, but it has been obvious for years the refs favour them mostly unconsciously but occasionally you see some seriously blatant ones. Ask any NFC North team in particular and you'll get a dozen examples from each fanbase from throughout the years.

My favourite tonight was the Packers committing a neutral zone infraction by one if not two rushers only for the refs to completely make up a false start penalty against the Browns. It was so pointless given the 4th down situation but they still did it.

Bears/Packers had some outstanding ones in the game at Soldier Field. Justin Fields calling for a timeout with around 5 seconds left on the play clock because they were late getting out of the huddle, but the referee "didn't see it" and then called him for delay of game when the clock hit 0.

Also an amazing one where the ref deadass gave them a first down for this defensive stop. Games with them are littered with small decisions like this which go their way but their fans always put it down to other fans being sore losers.

That first half between the giants and eagles won’t win any awards. Woeful shite altogether.

Not a Bills fan but Josh Allen is good fun to watch. Good game today against the Patriots.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Such a clear difference between a game changing QB like him and the QBs who are generally passengers in their systems
