BTEA and working part time

Hi, I am a mature student getting BTEA for me and the missus. Im driving over 850kms per week so the cost of diesel is E80-100 weekly my rent has gone up along with almost every other bill. Was looking to work part time, just 8-12 hours per week so it wouldnt affect my course work but would give us some breathing space…

Hi,

Was looking to work part time, just 8-12 hours per week so it wouldnt affect my course work but would give us some breathing space with bills. How would working part time affect my BTEA payment? Would I have to sign up for the Part Time Job Incentive Scheme? With the PTJIS I would be docked E120 approx from BTEA
