This isn't a thread looking for answers, but could eventually turn out to be a good historical thread to guage how people viewed certain investments at a time.
In the last 10 years there's been 2, maybe more, once in a generation investment opportunities. Property and bitcoin. If you invested in either 10 years ago, you will be in a really really brilliant position financially now.
Opportunities always come around, it's spotting them in time that is the problem. There's always opinions on why such investments are bad ones. i.e property has more to fall, will never reach ATH again or bitcoin is virtual and has no value.
There's also been opportunities in stocks such as facebook and apple who have grown insanely over the last decade.
Where's the next big investment opportunity? Let's start the discussion and get the thread going with NFTs. Like bitcoin, it seems like it has 0 value yet some are making good money. Will this turn out to be a dud or will it become more popular in the years ahead?
