Crucial and western digital have been caught out changing components on some of their SSDs so beware when buying from them. Don't think Samsung have been affected to the same degree.

Cant comment on other two, but Evo Plus goes hot, like up to 50°C on casual usage hot.

Had two of them RMA to Samsung and they returned as "all good" with note: "firmware upgraded". Dont know what to make of it, but apart that they working fine.

3.5 rust same time are under 30°C. At the time i used 2.5Evo temps were low/normal as well. Image PC uptime 30 min

probably gonna go for WD Blue SN570, sustained write performance not so good, but read performance and 1TB is pretty good bang for buck

    88 euro from amazon uk

WD Blue SN570 1TB High-Performance M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, with up to 3,500MB/s read speed

review here, top comment has full info on WD scandal changing components etc
