    Hi there, I am having difficulty in getting any info regarding Aer Lingus and LCY. I travel over a bit and generally use Aer Lingus. Currently using BA as Aer Lingus are not operating. Has anyone any idea if and when they might resume the service?

    It is very unlikely that they will.

    It was operated by Cityjet using Avro 85 aircraft which they have since retired. LCY has a very limited aircraft approval list and while it does allow the ATR72 that Emerald will be operating Aer Lingus Regional with from March, this is not generally seen as premium enough for that type of traffic

    LCY is a fantastic airport. Small and compact and very well located.

    I flew there with BA this year.

    I flew before with EI operated by WX. The avro is a beautiful plane. I miss them.
