How long until is the current requirement to provide a negative PCR or antigen test in order to come into Ireland, valid until?

Is there any end date published for this?

No end date. Just get a test.

Strangely, an I right in saying if you are going away for 2 days abroad. You can get a PCR test on departure and use that to get back in?

PCR is valid for 72 hours, antigen for 48 hours
